Probably Richard Lintner (ex-Penguin) or Ivan Majeský (ex-Capital).

Coach Glen Hanlon will make nomination on Wendesday.

Richard Lintner was the C for Slovakia in all exhibition games and I´m about 100% sure that he will be the captain in Germany as well.

Kapanen was captain at LG over Nummelin, as he was in last year's WHC as well.

So with 99% certainty:

C - Kapanen
A - Nummelin
A - Hahl

Hahl? Now that he thinks he's got bigtime offensive skills he doesn't hustle as hard and seems a bit more stupid defensively... I hope he is the 13th forward.

I'd love to see an A on one of our juniors over Wallin. We know they'll be captaining in a few years anyways.

He had it on LG games. And I trust Hahl tons more than I trust Santala or Hytönen.

At least he's got something to show his defensive game is adequate for top level. Those other two have nada. Age doesn't exactly play a factor either since they're all around thirty, give or take a year.

Besides, what does it matter if Hahl's been trying to play offensive game in his club team? It's not exactly the first time either when his role between club and NT duties differ. In the latter his role has always been to anchor the defensive game in the 4th line with no extra tricks thrown in, and he's yet to fail to deliver.

But eh, I guess this is the wrong topic for this discussion. Anyway, he's carried a letter quite a few times before, even 'C' occasionally. Out of the players who weren't on LG games, the only one I could see it on is Immonen. We'll see.
