Really have no expectations for tonights game. The Caps responded to a home game against the divison leader 2 nights ago with a **** effort and getting shutout by a backup goalie.
Instead of saying "Just ****ing win!" all I have is:

They're obviously going to win. It's what they've done all year. They'll keep being resilient half the time and **** the bed the other half, and completely **** over their draft position.

I'm excited to see Ovie and Backsy on the same line again. I know they didn't do so well at the start of the season, but maybe something good will happen tonight.

I think Oates waited a little to long to go back to Nick and Ovi but whatever. Ribs has been our best player and Ovi was at least getting chances more games than not.
While it may have been our system, Nick's neck, whatever, they did show little to warrant staying together. And Ribs deserved a big long look with Ovi to help decide if we should retain him.
I think Ovi is trending upwards despite his recent stats.

What a dumb statement by Oates. The guy is just coming off of a big injury and was one of our most impressive defenseman last season.
