Saw a stat that so far this season Ovi is leading the whole league in all-situations scoring chances with 98.

Second in the league only has 67

A fourth Hart or Lindsey would tie Ovie with some very exclusive company.

Ov would need to win the Art Ross and that wont happen. He could score 50 and win another Rocket. That would earn him open mouths around the league and amazement but goals just aren't valued like assists are and he has no shot at a Hart.

50 goals and 50 assists are just not equal difficulty. Its not going to change but when you get 2 50 goal scorers and 30 50 assist scorers, its pretty clear.

There's a decent case for Hart in 2010 but also a decent case for him not getting the hart in 2013. So I feel like it evens out. 3 Harts is right to me.

If you play less games the team gets additional production from a replacement player. If Lars Eller scores 40 points in 50 games it’s more productive than 40 points in 80 games.

I feel like Ovechkin has been one of the most well-liked players among Canadian media since the Cup win, so there's really no more excuses to be trotting out the xenophobia chatter.

Unfortunately that isn’t the equation that wins a Hart. It’s 40+80 vs 50+30 (ball parking for arguments sake).
