They've tried every line combination and every which way to score with backstrom and oshie back... not a single one has worked.... but they wont try the obvious and bench backstrom and oshie. Shame really... they had a chance to make the playoffs but decided the geriatrics comeback tour was more important.

The Caps might be the worst team in the NHL in 2023. This isn't just a 5 game losing streak. There's been a lot of Ls in the new year which unfortunately aligns with the return of Oshie and Backstrom and the demotion of Protas
