That should have been called, but whatever.

It's a glaring consistent fact that the most creative players on the team always seem to be the newest ones, and then it disappears over time. Watching Raffl, Sheary, and TvR work just now had like three or four passing angles that Caps players just don't try.

similar note, Caps need to stop drafting safe third line type guys (Clark, Leason) when their bottom six is at its best getting conversion out of former big-time scoring prospects (Connolly, Sprong)

While its intermission. I've got an upgrade for trade Kuzy plan.

Sign Raffl, use Backstrom-Eller-CMM-Raffl-Dowd center lineup. Looks better by the minute!

All things considered, things are going pretty well

Just hope Ovie is ok.

Here's hoping that Ov was just giving it a try because they were short handed and bagged it right away. If he reinjured it because of Kuzy, I am going to be SOOOO pissed
I turned the game on at about 14 mins left ... why are people talking Kuzy in re to ovie?

turned it on at like 7:16 and 6 plus live mins were off the clock

Kuznetsov is a healthy scratch tonight due to being late at a team meeting. Oshie is out for personal matters, which we think forced an injured Ovi back into the lineup. It appears that Ovi may have re-injured himself on his only shift of the game.

He could test it in practice like every other player when they return back from injury. They played him tonight because Oshie was out and Kuzy couldn't show up to a meeting on time.

Also at the NHL level, no player declines to play in a game if they think they might be able to skate, even if they're still injured. Guys at that level play on torn ACLs, punctured lungs and all sorts of horrific injuries.
