Kinkaid in the starters net, oh boy.

This is a huge gamble.

It’s like racing your car for pinks. It will feel good if you get to keep your car and acquire another one, but it’s gonna hurt like hell to lose your car if it doesn’t work out.

This is a daring move. Kinkaid stole that shootout game against Capitals last year, then proceeded to be ripped apart by them in the next two games. He even got yanked the second time.

And if he gets destroyed, I can see Hynes go with Cory in the back to backs on both Monday and Tuesday, which would be a waste. If that happens, this is a waste and we would have been better off playing Cory tonight and giving Keith the inferior opponent in the Wings on Monday. This would be a smart move in a throwaway year like last season.
