Panthers have lost 5 straight...

Hmmm well before the Nilsson trade I would be 100% this would be a start for Marky but maybe, just maybe they'll give Demko a try at a struggling team. We shall see. It would be nice to see Demko's first win of the year being against Lou...

He had majority of his time with Florida though, but it`s not an easy decision - he had a great NHL career and still playing! :)

It has been a busy new year and 2019, but I`m looking forward to see Vancouver tomorrow for sure!

Chris Johnston saying on HNIC tonight that the league essentially admitted to the Canucks that the Cousins goal the other night shouldn't have counted.

Gauds scores but because he had a weak clear that they eventually scored on he gets to sit?

meanwhile, that bum granlund is absolutely useless and brings nothing to the table. He got walked 2 times in ot and even if they scored he would still be in the lineup

I mean tonight VGK had one called back when the player was very clearly stopping and had one go off their foot, and then Cousin's counted with a full forward and back motion vs clear stop motion.

Lou is the best goalie the Canucks have ever had (49 years). He might be the best goalie we ever have. He was dominant, and the best player on a very talented team. 100% his number should be retired.

Numbers should never be retired.

Ring of Honor for him for sure.

Pavel Bure played for both the Canucks and Panthers.

The trade between the two teams happened on January 17, 1999 -- almost twenty years ago.

As I was just watching some old footage, it didn't take long before I stumbled upon an exciting Pavel Bure play:
