This is decent. Poolman should not have been signed.

WAIT ITS 3M EACH AND NOT 1.5

Well, I mean there's our blue line for the season I guess. Lol

At least Hamonic can actually log some big minutes and play defense. Probably Benning's best move of the off-season, which is hilarious.

At the end of the day, Schmidt was pretty much turned into Hamonic and Poolman.

You sacrifice quality pedigree for depth.

Don't mind that. Though the 13.2 ml in OEL and Myers really offsets any positivity on the D. Ugh.

I guess the defense is

Hughes-Hamonic
OEL-Myers
Rathbone(Edler?)-Poolman
Schenn

At this point I'm hoping for an Edler extension and let Rathbone marinate in the AHL for a year.

Really not a fan of this deal. This is shaping up to be the most injury prone can't play defense blueline in the league.

Exactly what I thought Hamonic was going to get. He may even have had options elsewhere for slightly higher. Two years is good.

So it looks like:
Ekman-Larsson / Myers
Hughes/ Hamonic
Rathbone / Poolman
Juolevi/ Schenn

... they need to pray Ekman-Larsson can be a true top 2 again.
