I just think he doesn't do well with speed. Seems to make bad decisions with someone coming in fast at him.

I'm a Guds fan and I agree. HIs skating is decent though so it shouldn't be happening as much. I do think he panics a little.

But for example on this goal Hutton switches for some reason, and Guds is caught. If his faster partner helps him out, Gud's liabilities aren't as apparent.

Pretty stark difference between him playing 18-19 minute on a 2nd pairing and tonight when has been tasked with replacing Edler/Tanev.

Pretty good example of how much context matters. People can say how awful Tanev has been and how great Gudbranson has been, but look at how Gudbranson looks when he has to play Tanev's minutes.

I dont know about the best, but he's going to be a beauty. His game sense and the plays he makes are elite.

As I said before the game, this game would be a test for Gudbranson's mobility.. don't think he has fared too well.
