If they get Markstrom surgery now he'll have six months before camp. This must lessen his chances of seizing the number one spot? He'll be rehabbing a knee, not polishing his game, all offseason.

I think this forces a Miller return.

So Markstrom hurts his knee in the team's skills competition of all places, and now needs surgery and is done for the year.....add that to two guys who needed wrist surgery and are now done for the year.

Another two guys broke fingers blocking shots; and mumps and food poisoning swept through the entire team....you couldn't make this stuff up.

But leaves a huge question mark in goal.....Goaltenders coming off knee surgery, a huge red flag for next season. Canucks need to be scouring the goaltender UFA market.

I can already see this regime going after a Dallas goalie to speak Finnish to their new golden prospect...normally we'd get a 2nd rounder....we will give one.

I know you're kidding, but even if Juolevi didn't speak English (which would be weird for a Finn), you do have Granlund on the team.
