Seeing John Ferguson Jr's name reminds me

Before John Ferguson Sr. was Jean Beliveau's protector, he was my grandpa's protector. My grandpa was a 16 year old playing Senior lacrosse for the Nanaimo Labatt's, Ferguson was on the team and always stood up for him and didn't let the older guys try anything.

Lots of stories about those days and how he'd talk about watching the top NHL teams and just be confused about why they let teams walk all over their stars.
