i am disappointed in the back to backs and back to back to backs.
but perhaps they will turn into mini playoffs
I get why, but playing the same team 4 times in a row is going to be super boring to watch.
When, in the history of hockey, has two teams playing each other more made the games more boring?

Ditto. Can't wait for it to start.Super excited. This is going to be a dog fight. Pretty much every game is against a team trying to make the playoffs over each other.
We have lived through a schedule with 8 Canucks-Wild games. Coming out of the 05 lockout maybe.Northwest division, Canucks having to play the mid to late 2000's Wild 5 or more times a year.

If Toronto missed the 2021 playoffs, I would be super duper happy. We could even finish last and I’d be okay with that. I love seeing us win, but watching Toronto lose, especially when they really should be winning, is heartwarming.I’m all in for winning the coveted Canadian Division Pendant and having there be an undisputed Canada’s team
if I can’t have they just let us have a better record than Toronto
I'm a habs fan, but did you guys notice MTL plays VAN 9 times in the first 31 games.
I guess we'll all get to know each other pretty well..
We've never had this before, so you can't point to the past as any sort of indicator. Even the original 6 days with only a few opponents they knew not to play the same team in a row as much as we're going to see.
When we play Ottawa on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday in one week, people are going to be sick of the Sens.
Three consecutive games against the Leafs, or Flames? That's not going to be boring, especially as the season tightens up.
That type of schedule isn’t going to be boring at all. Playing the same team three times in a row is going to make those third games electric.
it’s not going to be boring...it’s going to be nasty.
Luckily the Canucks fans here are already well versed in dealing with all of the in house hate. Each Canadian city will spew hate.
It could get uncomfortable for some...
