So now all of Montreal hates us? If we get one more city to hate us, we get a free sandwich at Subway. :sarcasm:

I have seen him play several times. A workout freak like PK and really has a very impressive offensive game that is more translatable than PK's was.

He's also more risk-taking isn't he? I haven't seen him play, but he sounds a lot like a Ryan Ellis type.

Plus he has significant work defensively.

That said, he is sublime on the PP and skates like the wind.

Really hoping he can add some height. Even 1-2 inches would go a long long way.

Well PK is 6ft and Jordan is 6'2. The younger the taller is it not? May be overdue for a big growth stint. Not that he'll hit 6'2 but still he can't stay 5'9 forever with that history.

Love the pick. Saw him in the subway series, looked poor defensively. That said, i think being a good skater is becoming more and more important for dmen.

Great pick. I was calling for it months back and everyone said no, but look now, everyone loves it. Surprise surprise.

If he was 3-4 inches taller he would have been a top 10 pick this year.

If he turns out anything remotely like PK I'll be ecstatic about this pick.

Size in terms of height is what most are referring to.

Which I don't get.

Weight is far more important than height.

a 5'10" 200 lb. player (ie. Raffi Torres) is much 'bigger' than a 6'2 180 lb. player (ie. Lukas Krajicek).

There is no advantage to height by itself aside from having a bit longer reach. 'Size' is important in terms of ability to push other players off the puck, win puck battles, maintain control in traffic, and this all comes from strength and weight ... not height at all.

Jordan has no problem developing muscle, just look at him but he still gets pushed around in his own zone and continues to lose battles along the boards. He isn't a physical defender and he doesn't have the reach to solely depend on stick plays. Height plus his muscle would go a long way.
