I guess the encouraging thing is that a lot of the d-men the Canucks have drafted, have actually shown dramatic improvement in their draft-plus one-plus two seasons.
For late round picks, that's really all you can hope for--that their development continues on an upward trajectory.
Obviously the Canucks won't sign all of them--but the blueline pipeline is still light years ahead of where it used to be.
