He’s far to focus on overpowering the goalie than being quick and accurate with his shot.

Issue IMO is that the PP coaching is very static. There has been a tiny bit of improvement recently but watching other top teams run a PP is like watching a hurricane vs a kiddy pool in terms of movement.

Why can't they run a different set for PP1? Just to mix it in here or there? The whole thing is very predictable IMO.

Kind of.. but I also just think he's trying to pick corners instead of the smart shot. A nice low snapshot will give off some nice rebounds instead of him missing and the puck going all the way around the boards. Chasing goals/stats.
