I think missing 5 months of game action and most of camp is a big reason why. Look at Nylander the year he held out for his contract. I think about the 40 game mark he’ll find his game and finish the season strong too little too late. There’s also the concern that the wrist isn’t properly heal and that’s 80% of his game (stick handling/shooting). He’s probably also mentally checked out similar to laine that year in Columbus/ Winnipeg.

I really thought the Canucks would have this one in the bag, really I did. That was until Montreal fireed everyone. To me that means
the players and coaches KNOW that they need to impress more since everyone was brought in by old management, so i say
4 -2 (yes I said it) 3-2 late with an empty netter Habs.
