I think we should make a 2nd "all-time" team but just with Canuck draft picks who turned out to be great...

Patrick White------------Josh Holden--------------Danny Woodley
Alek Stojanov-----------Nathan Smith------------Larry Courville
Rob Murphy-------------Libor Polasek-------------Thatcher Bell
Rob Woodward----------Robb Gordon--------------Shawn Antoski

Kirill Koltsov--------------Chris McAllister
Mike Wilson---------------Denis Grot
Brad Ference-------------Jason Herter

Mike Fountain

That team is missing one thing: a superstar!

LARIONOV?

Tiger Williams?

Larionov was one of the best players to ever play for Vancouver. He won multiple stanley cups (I'm not sure there is another SC winner on the list). The D men don't stand out for me the way the forwards do. Edler might be a Norris trophy winner some day; we'll see. Yeah, picked Mitchell simply because he was Steady Eddy. i would have to agree Reinhardt was more impressive, but he was only here for a year. Tiger was a neighbor of mine, and he was the first player the Canucks had who stood up for everyone on the team. He changed the nature of the dressing room attitude. That's why I listed him as the 13th forward. Neely - yeah left when he was 20, but we obviously should have kept him. That 4th line would be sheer hell to play against.

Well with that logic on Larionov, you could add Mark messier to the list because he won 6 Stanley Cups. Hell, throw Esa Tikkanen in there. Mats Sundin would also be on that list along with Mogilny, Mike Peca (if you use the Neely logic) and maybe even John Vanbiesbrouck even though he never played a game.

Taylor Hall. Played with the Canucks from 83-87.

Suck it Edmonton. We had him first!

Sorry, every name I listed was on somebody else's list first. And everyone one of them were in pretty much in their prime when they played here, except Neely.

Yeah but if we are talking "greatest Canucks" we can't cite what they did when they left.

It was who were the greatest players as Canucks, in Canuck uniforms.

Otherwise you could say Jerry Rice was the greatest Seahawk of all time!

What if we were to include a more "traditional" 4th line?

Odjick would patrol one wing, I imagine.

Tommi Santala is a shoe-in, for obvious reasons. :sarcasm:

Would a prime Malhotra lineup at center? Peca, perhaps?

That's not bad at all. Every forward line has at least one "unstoppable" aspect to it. And I fully support the inclusion of Tiger!
