Predicting the Avs will come out hard given that they got pretty badly embarrassed last night in Calgary. If the Canucks can avoid any/multiple early goals against, I feel good about their chances.

Agreed. The Avs going to come out hard. A 5 goals against third period and blowing a 4-1 lead is just embarrassing. They'll be looking to rebound.

Markstrom has got to be tired by now. Put Bachman in net and let him take the loss. Play the 3rd and 4th lines more and don't make Hutton play 30 minutes again Travis. This is a marathon; not a sprint

If the big line can be contained the avs depth scoring is almost as bad as ours. They'll definitely have a chip on their shoulder tonight though.

Might be second game in a row without EP points. Hopefully his linemates does something.

The first line has as many points as the rest of the team combined.

The drop off after landy, Mack, Rantanen is drastic.

Damn, Girard on their top pairing. Doing well I see lol

I’ve watched 5 or 6 of their games this year and he has been really impressive on both sides of the puck. Without Barrie there taking the spot on PP1, Girard’s numbers would look a lot better

With Edler and Tanev (and Sutter) I actually wouldn’t hate our chances, but with them out I don’t think our defense can contain them.

Thanks Zombotron!

As far as our chances go....well we seem to do well when it should be a blow out. I'll say we squeak out with a grind of a win. Virtanen, Pettersson, Horvat and Boeser should be able to out play that D, especially across three lines.

What did the morning line rush look like?

Virtanen is really playing well in that 3rd line role and not having to over think the game but damn id be tempted to put him on EPs wing.

I'm picking up one of Goldy or Jake in fantasy for tonights game just for the hell of it. I'd like to know this too. Also, need Hutton and Guddy to somehow shut down Rantanen for the same reason.
