Consider this a dumb question but how does his contract toll? Does it start as of today and thus would he immediately report to Florida or Charlotte or would it start for the '15-'16 season? It feels like we so rarely sign NCAA free agents that I have no idea how it works.

That's the only example I could think of. The problem with Tirronen though is where to put him? It seems like a waste to put him with Charlotte given that they aren't going anywhere in the postseason. Florida is, at least, but they've got 3 goalies under contract, only 1 of whom is our property (Altshuller). For reference, here's our organizational depth in goal.
