The Carolina Hurricanes have existed in the NHL longer than the Hartford Whalers but still haven't been able to carve out that iconic presence.

Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon recently confirmed that his team WILL wear the vintage Whalers jerseys at least once during the upcoming season, maybe twice.
