It's surprising in that he has looked like one of the worst players on the ice regardless of team, experience, draft pedigree, etc. He should be better. Granted, it's just one period. He has been mostly invisible the other games.

Fair enough. I noticed last game where he struggled when pressured in his own zone as well. It's why I don't think he's ready as he seems to turn the puck over and struggle when pressured heavily, which will happen a lot in the NHL.

I like him... He's a bit free wheelin' which could be an issue in the regular season, but talent wise he stands out almost every time he's on the ice, to me anyway.
