Max Games Played: No maximum
No, I mean for the league settings, where it's currently set to have no maximum games played. Whereas before it was 82 games per position (which would be 48 for this season).Flat out not saying no-maximum. If a player's been around for a while and is just now breaking out, then just sign them, I'm not cool with a prospect pick being used on a guy that's already played 30some NHL games in previous seasons. But that's not the case this time. In a case such as this one where everything was so short notice and this is the players first season in the league I have no problem with it.

A fix to this prospect drafting issue would be to have us start our prospect draft about a month before the season starts and have a mandate for it to be done before the NHL season begins. In that case, the late bloomers and surprise makes of NHL camps can be free agents instead of prospect eligible picks. I just want to say that I have made my picks inside of 12 hours, I believe, of each round coming to my turn. I realize that this season is wonky on ten levels regarding when the season was going to start etc., but we could even do OUR draft about a week after the real league draft if it suits everyone considering the fact that our league draft has no implications on how we operate the league on a day to day basis and it doesn't need to be "open" before we select guys.
Oh, yeah, no max IMO. If a team wants to roll the dice on players, adding and dropping them that much and chancing their loss once they're dropped then that's their decision. That was part of the reason I drastically shortened the bench this season.
Not enjoying this draft at all.

Seems like this would be an incentive to hoard goalies using your two bench spots and play them as much as possible.
Already took him, geehad. Sorry.
