Proposal: Canes/Jets

Neither team does this. This proposal horribly ignores Carolina's needs (1G and 1C), whereas the Jets lose out on a lot of value and depth.

As a Jets fan I would do it, would add a pick too. Not sure what Canes fans would feel about it though.

That is not a good trade short term for the Jets.

Lowry or Copp will be your 2 C behind Schiefele.
Jets just lost their depth.

That’s part of the reason I’d make the deal. One of MP or Little needs to be moved if we have any shot at resigning Stastny, if he doesn’t have any intent in signing (and has made that clear to the team) it gets a little dicer. MP would be more likely to play 2C than either Lowry or Copp though.
