If the goalies suck and we miss the playoffs as a result, we'll be saying it here too.

Until then, it's fine. Coaches choose their staffs for a reason.

I don't blame the pitching coach when his guys are throwing batting practice fastballs.

I dont blame the goalie coach when goalies dont make saves.

Mrazek isnt changing his style for any coach. If he fails, it's on him.....

Just because JR was brought up, if our goalies do bad this season, I will blame him for not drafting a #1 since Cam.

Frederik Andersen doesn't count since he would have put up Scott Darling like numbers had he signed here. :sarcasm:

Daryl Reaugh used to called him the fighting or flying scorpion, as he used to make ridiculous lunges/dives forward onto loose pucks a little too far away and he would land so hard his legs would start to whip over him backwards like a scorpion tail.

I think it was flying until he got into fights, then he became the fighting scorpion. His nickname for Steve Rice was the “baby Brahma bull”.

He and Forslund together was priceless.

In some ways he and Mrazek are perfect matches....

My biggest personal gripe with Andersen ditching the Canes is that I was on his bandwagon right away, and defended the pick on this board from folks who said it was a wasted pick. Yes...a "wasted" 7th-round pick. Turns out that both sides were wrong for ironic reasons: my defense of it was wasted because he didn't want to sign here and the objection to the pick was misguided because he was clearly worth taking the chance on.

A wasted 7th round pick...I wish you could dredge up some quotes for that.

Are you kidding me? Wasting a 7th on that guy when we could have used it as a throw-in for a minor league deal?
