Sorry I didn't have time to get creative for this one.

Lines are very very rough guesstimations on my part. Not sure who will sit in favour of Mitchell and Flynn, who I believe I heard will both make their debut tonight.

Also not sure if Petry will play on the second with Beaulieu or third with Gonchar...

Will update the OP when we get more news, just wanted to get it up.

I assume Malhotra and PAP would sit, at least that would be my choice.

Hopefully we see a better effort tonight.

I think we'll see a lot of compete tonight, even if we do not win I expect a solid effort. I think dsp factors big in this one, I also have a bad feeling Sekac scores

Price tonight, Tikker tomorrow?

Seems like the logical choice. Sitting DSP against is former team would be wrong on many levels!

Habs usually bounce back after a bad game. I expect us to win.

Why would they possibly sit Parenteau after his first game back? I hope not -- we need him to regain his form, not lose it further.

What would be ironic to me is that Sekac gets hit hard and legally on the boards by DSP...:sarcasm:

If one has the same criteria for irony as Alanis Morrisette.

DSP better show up for this one. I know Sekac will.

Interested to see what the new grinders can do. Hopefully Eller pots one soon and the Plekanec line gets going.

OR that Pleks and Pacio get put together.

MT needs to start trying out combos that will get us places. *he said, disconnected from reality*

After looking at the two team complete lineups, i take Montreal first, And i cant say i would have even as close back as last year.

Tonight Habs 3-1 winners.

Will be at work for this one. They've been on a roll this year when I tune in to 98.5FM. And thank goodness for Martin McGuire and Danny Dube.

Montreal win 3-2 in OT/SO

Lots of new and young guys, so we have an excuse if we fall apart again. Joking but really I prefer this to last season when Bouillon played down the stretch.

Sekac will score book it ;)

Here's my best guess on the Ducks' lineup:

Palmieri - Getzlaf - Perry
Fleischmann - Kesler - Silfverberg
Sekac - Rakell - Etem
Maroon - Thompson - Cogliano

Lindholm - Beauchemin
Fowler - Despres
Stoner - Manson

Gibson
Andersen

Regain what form exactly? He's been awful basically all season. Soft and slow and brings zero intensity. I don't think he should be playing at all to be honest.

Really have no idea what Hab team shows up here. I'd like to think they are motivated after getting embarrassed in SJ, and the Ducks have been setup for them with a B2B... BUT these Cali gauntlet trips in general go so awful with the jet lag + cali sunshine, that it's so hard to say.

Hopefully whatever that was last game was caused by travel, fatigue or trade deadline or something and they put it behind them and look like an actual NHL team tonight. Nevermind one of the top 5 ones in the league. I would be embarassed about that last game if I were any player on that team. Judging on the character they've displayed all year I'm hoping they show up tonight. If they don't win, at least show up and compete.

Man, even without Beleskey, that is a good FW lineup.
