Nice little outside the box thinking by the Habs. There are a lot of coaches in Europe who should be considered for NHL/AHL gigs. And bringing in someone who is part of one of the SHL's best organizations to develop players.

The defense is so much more stacked than the forwards.

Smilanic is attending it seems. Hopefully it's a new start. I've always been a bit curious about him since the Habs got him for Chiarot. Heard lots of good things He was a good player a couple of years ago then things seem to have gone awry.

Dell'elce, as well. He was ranked to go in the Top-100 by a few draft rankings.

Elite Prospects, McKeen's, Dobber Prospects, and Recruit Scouting (not McCagg) all had him between 75 and 100, and Daily Faceoff had him 101.

Thank you for the info. Hopefully the kid makes a comeback better than ever. It provides yet another glimpse of the pressure these young athletes experience in order to perform often at the expense of their emotional well being.

I don't see Sam Harris on the list. He must have another commitment.

Smilanic's on there. Does anyone remember if he went to our development camp last year? He went though some stuff and took a sabbatical from playing hockey at one point but I can't remember if it intersected with last year's camp.

Why isn’t Heineman there?

Heineman has been drafted three years ago.

I guess he did a few of those camps throughout the years.

At this point he’s a known quantity in term of play style. Better for him to focus on his is offseason training and be ready for camp.
