I think it's going to go:

Power (no brainer)
Beneirs (almost bust-proof first selection)
Guenther (to play with Zegras - don't see them going Eklund here)
Hughes (no brainer to keep the golden boy happy and why wouldn't you bet on another Hughes)
Edvinsson (they are losing Jones and likely Werenski soon)

So my pick would be Eklund. I'll trust Stevie with whomever he takes if he goes off the conventional board (Svechkov), but would like to avoid Wallstedt and Johnson. Honestly, I think I'd like them swinging on Svechkov over taking someone out of the Lucious, Sillinger grouping of players. What a wild draft with all the evaluation time missed due to Covid!

I just don't see Hughes falling to us, the potential is too great. I could see him going to Seattle, but I think an American center prospect is much sexier for the fanbase. But who knows after their Shane Wright / Connor Bedard tank expansion draft.

I really like Johnson, but for some reason I don't see us taking him and I don't think Clarke is the type of defensemen Yzerman wants that high. Power, Beniers, Eklund, McTavish and Hughes are off the board I am predicting.
