Would love to know why Wild management traded Leddy to Chicago for him.

Former 3rd overall pick, still just 23 years old at the time, had put up 40 points in 68 games the season before which demonstrated some offensive skill, might have thought he was just getting buried by the Hawks depth at the time, idk but they messed up.

Would love to know why Wild management traded Leddy to Chicago for him.

Leddy was coming off a broken jaw that left him little to no playing time in College, yet he wanted to go pro, I think the front office was losing faith in him, and they were offered a young 23yro D-man that already managed 40pts in a season, so they got "fooled" by the numbers.
