David Krejci a game-time decision for Bruins
ANAHEIM, Calif. — Bright sun, warm weather, and the gently sway of palm trees didn’t produce any magical healing powers for the banged-up Bruins.
Injured forwards
Brad Marchand and
Anders Bjork, both of whom remained in Boston, were ruled out of the next two games by coach
Bruce Cassidy following the club’s off-day workout Tuesday afternoon at Honda Center.
“They may join us Friday,” mused Cassidy, his Black-and-Gold roster a constant churn of bumps and bruises, “if they are better.”
Meanwhile,
David Krejci, unable to suit up since Oct. 19, took contact and made it through the entire workout in preparation of Wednesday night’s game vs. the Ducks. If he’s a go, he is expected to have
Danton Heinen and
Frank Vatrano as his wingers.
“He felt good, said Cassidy, “but he’ll be a game-time decision.”
