Last Friday, the Lions barely beat the Stampeders in a 29-27 nail biter in their first exhibition game.

The Stamps have signed import DB Jonathan Hefney.

On Thursday, the Stamps travel to Saskatchewan to face the Riders in their final exhibition game.

Surprised no one has commented in here yet tonight. I lost track of time and missed the first half, but the Stamps were up big at the half (31-6) but in the 3rd the Lions put up 15, while the good guys only countered with 7.

So headed into the 4th the good guys are up 38-21

Fun game to be at but frustrating seeing that big 25 point lead down to 10 in only a few minutes...
BC had no answer for Cornish and our Defense looked strong with some big plays to finish.

Since I missed the first half and then fell asleep in the 4th quarter (not because of the game, but because I was all hopped up on pain killers) how did Tate look? I know statistically it looked good but we all know stats can be deceiving.

I really hope Cornish wins most outstanding player this year, that will be a great thing for the CFL since Canadians rarely win it.

It also appears ughes had a huge game with 3 sacks.

And it is just me or does he look like Cutty from The Wire

played good, made a couple of floaters that could of been intercepted. threw the long ball nicely.

Yeah, a lot of potential there. I like Tate, but he's looking like Buck Pierce 2.0. Stampeders may just have to protect Mitchell at the expansion draft. We're losing one of our QBs to Ottawa.
