I think it's nice for the Flames to send their moms to Vegas.... though with Calgary being my 2nd team I do have to ask Are the Calgary Flames actually going to Vegas with them, because that team does not show up for half their games.

Honestly, these guys travel on the regular LA, NYC, Miami. It shouldn’t take a parental chaperone to keep them under control in Vegas.

There's definitely tons of party cities in the NHL. Double digits. Easily.

But Vegas is just a whole different monster

Holy crap the moms on an all night bender screaming at the coach because her son isn’t getting enough ice time!

If you’re a regular schmoe from Iowa, sure. But not if you’ve got the cash to get into the hottest spots in Manhattan/Hollywood/South Beach/wherever.

Considering these guys have ~4 months off every year to travel and party, and they make millions a year, and they’re in all of these cities on a regular cycle, it just seems dumb to imagine that they would go completely nuts just because they’re in Vegas for a night.

They only don't show up to home games. Second best road record in the NHL.

Spoken like someone who's never been to Vegas. LA, Miami, NYC, Chicago, are all massive party cities, all of which I would rank higher than Vegas.
