Dude are you f***ing serious? If I was a hockey player and my mother went with me to Vegas she'd probably make a 2 day excursion out of it to book the hotel room for both of us the night before and of the game, find the best food, casinos and shows AND probably smuggle a joint. Hell, she used to smoke with my sister's college friends if they had any.

The best "no going out in Vegas" policy would be to actually impose that they stay in the hotel room

Shit dude you're spot on there. The only reason I didn't say so is because I have to imagine they'd have more respect than that. I had a classmate in college who used to be an exotic dancer in Vegas and she was still in her early 40's (old enough to be a player's mother) and dear God that woman's appetite was insatiable. I never hooked up with her because I was in a committed relationship and but trust me, all I would've had to do was ask. God she even came on to my friend...
