Brayden Point
JG Pageau
Vincent Trochek
Mikael Granlund
Alex Kerfoot
Max Domi

The answer is enough. There are plenty of other small bottom 6 centers as well.

Rossi is an outstanding faceoff guy and plays like a wolf in the corners. He’s also got a thick build. He’ll stick in the middle.

Brayden Point is the only answer required.

So just Brayden Point.

i see no problem to let him play in the NHL now.
He is ready and he will not a bad choice lately.

I am sure he is the next Elite 2 way Forward.
50-70 Points and a good PK Game.
Selke Trophy is coming soon or later for him.

It sounds like something is wrong with Rossi - he hasn't been cleared to join the team.

Makes it seem more and more likely he just gets assigned to Zurich eventually.

He’s currently living with Vanek in MN. It sounds like he is having medical issues. We don’t have a lot of information, though.

According to the Wild, Rossi has an upper body injury (must have revealed itself in the physical) and will be out indefinitely.

oof...back to Nick Bjugstad as #1C.:help:

What a ridiculous trade we did with Buffalo.

Oh well, back to watching Beniers, Eklund, and Johnson play!

Rossi suffered an elbow injury during his rookie season with Ottawa, 2018-19. Hopefully this upper-body injury has nothing to do with that.

He tested positive for COVID a month or two ago.....I really hope he didn't sustain some sort of permanent lung or heart damage as a result.
That's the first thing that popped into my mind too, I sincerely hope not, watching him last year dominate in Ott was a treat.

I promise you it isn't COVID related. Something came up and it most likely related to the WJC or something longer term.

I think it was in the Russia game because he looked fine in that game but from the get go against the Czechs he looked like he was laboring and favoring something. But he still played through it so I hope it's ok and it's largely precautionary.

Russo is speculating hard that Rossi is done for the season and that he won't be doing much of anything for a while.
