That's crazy.

If he shoots the puck, its basically a coin flip to see if it's in the net or not

He has 2 more goals tonight. His shooting percentage is near 45% on the season, absolutely absurd this late in the season to see that.
The ohl site is weird. When you click on a player they only count the dangerous shots as shots on goal, but when you go to player statistics they separate them.

Seattle doing the lords work again with the drafting. Their CHL strategy of going for whoever has the best stats is pretty friggin' great, lol. Might bite them with Wright, Drag and Nelson but the rest are looking friggin' good.

It's a treat to actually get to see him play. This team is a complete 180 from last year. Teams slept on this kid and Brz because of our dog shit coach and system's last year. Now people are seeing what some of the hype was about.
Amen.

That dog shit coach and system cost those two 20-25 slots in the draft easily. Maybe more NHL teams should look for gems hidden under terrible coaches. :)

Great game tonight in Sweden. Glad they slotted him in the lineup so we could get a look at what he can do on a high profile line. Goes without saying he’ll stick with the line to start next game too.

Or maybe some players really take off after their draft season?

But it might also be a combination of both but sometimes people get too excited about stats and projections.

Sure Rehkopf is ripping up the league in scoring as is his team mate and Canuck draftee but it doesn't mean that either guy will be the best NHL from the OHL right now either at their respective postions.

I don’t think anyone is saying they will. All I was saying is that the brutal coaching last year kept them hidden more than they should have been and made me wonder how many other draft eligibles should be much higher.
