C Brian Williams - Tri-City Americans, WHL (2013 undrafted)

Was once highly touted coming from USNTDP and didn't have an impact-ful 2012-2013 for Tri City, seemed too passive, didn't want to get into the dirty areas, and basically all you can think of for a guy that is 5'8", though there were flashes of talent there. But now he is up to 175 lbs, which is a lot for a player 5'8" (for comparison Point is 5'9" and 160 lbs) and since the start really taking the lead for a young/inexperienced team. Is more aggressive at times and showing us his deceptiveness with the puck (also fast skater), great stickhandler, solid shot, and now good hockey IQ being in goal scoring areas.

Brian never played for the USNDP. I don't recall him suiting up in a game as an emergency fill in either.

Was hoping for much more from him last season but maybe he is finally starting to put it together. I liked him as much as McColgan coming out of LA, but both are smaller forwards who didn't tear up the dub.
