Wow...I'm in Orange County, CA and get a discount. But I think most of the guys pay between $25-$30 per game based on a 16 game season. If you miss 2 or 3 games it gets really pricey.

San Jose is 2 preseason, 22 regular season and playoffs if you make it for 10,650 a team, so price depends on how many skaters you have

Summer season is only 16 regular season games

10 game regular season plus one playoff game is 135 here in Pittsburgh. High end can run to 150 per man. Pretty reasonable

In LA I get a 25% discount for playing on two teams. It comes out to around $22 per game. I still am shocked they charge $35 a game for subs. They want people to join, instead of playing the minimum number of games to qualify for playoffs. We don't really want more than two full lines to show up. I often play D with only 3, so I usually get a good skate.

My posts are jokes. And hockey is just a game.

Yeah the over $30 average is a bummer.

But it's still fun as hell.

Hockey isn't cheap. Never was. Never will be.

If I had a giant warehouse with even ONE NHL sized rink and a zamboni machine, I'm not sure it'd be cheaper than paying ~$1800 a year in league fees. I mean, property taxes alone...nevermind utilities...would dwarf that cost here.

$300 for 30-35 regular season games, plus playoffs (2 games min) and year end tournament (3 games min).

$750 ish per player (we have about 16-18 players I think) for 28 games + at least 1 playoff game with refs and timekeeping/stats. In Calgary.

I play both ice and roller in the li/nyc area

$400 for 15 games + playoffs for ice
$~250 for 10 games + playoffs for most of the roller hockey leagues.

I usually play on a couple roller teams and an ice team each season, and i play mercenary on a couple other teams where guys let me play free for games here and there.

Yeah in Brandon. Rolled out with 14 skaters this season. 230 a season. 12 game season. At least one round of playoffs. (It's elimination rule in playoffs. You lose in round one, you don't play the next week.)
What league do you play in? I play B and C.
