It's quite the long story and I only picked up on it the past 2-3 years so I don't know the whole situation. Only since then, so I'm not sure where it stems/started from.

TBN frequently publishes articles that read like they were lifted off of bad water cooler conversation instead of thought-out journalism. Also, some of the writers let ego and personal vendetta get in the way of their jobs to a shameless extent.

Bill Hoppe is a good young writer. Doesn't come off like someone who's got an axe to grind like most of the TBN staff has.

I agree with this. When i read TBN articles, the only ones i give any credence to are the ones written by Hoppe.

You must not have lived downstate, where the contentiousness between the press and the sports teams is often times at fever pitch.

I see people complain about how the BN is so mean to Buffalo sports teams...and I have to laugh.

So basically you're using Harrington's argument that because the NYC/Toronto/Boston media members act like entitled self important jerks, that the Buffalo media should too?
