With 20 games in the books thus far, the Buffalo Jr. Sabres are off to an excellent start. The team has amassed 32 points, compiling a 15-3-1-1 record. Buffalo has scored 94 goals along the way while only allowing 53.

Leading the way for the Jr. Sabres in the scoring column are Darren McCormick, Pat Egan and Nick DeSimone...Buffalo is getting scoring from throughout the lineup as well as strong goaltending from Joey Pianta & Brandon Mueller (both tenders posting a save % above .900).

Buffalo's next home game is Tuesday, November 5 against the Burlington Cougars. The puck drops at 7:30 PM at Northtown Center. One schedule change coming up...the November 12 home game against the Milton Icehawks has been moved back one day-to Monday, November 11.

On Veterans'/Remembrance Day, the puck drops at 4 PM at First Niagara Center. More information about that game will be released very soon!

Veterans Day Game at FNC: FREE ADMISSION

Sorry for the double-post, friends...wanted to provide a little more incentive to come check out a great Junior-A program that's making Buffalo proud.

The Buffalo Jr. Sabres will host the Milton Icehawks in a Veterans' Day matinee at 4 PM downtown at First Niagara Center. Admission is normally $7 for adults, $3 for students & seniors.

Throw that out the window. For the game on Monday, November 11 - admission is FREE. Yes, you read that right. Free. Gratis. Zero...zilch...bupkiss.

We will be accepting donations on behalf of area veterans organizations (getting confirmation on those right now).

It's a bi-national holiday. Kids are off school. Why not spend an afternoon at a good old hockey game?

Nice that my Tweets show up here, too. :p: Not sure when the rescheduled game is.

There was also a trade last night - the Jr. Sabres sent defenseman Mason Evans (Nichols) to the Pickering Panthers.
