I never thought Flynn would be more than AHL fodder when we signed him. The crow kept coming though. But the reality is when the rebuild is complete Flynn would likely be just a 4th liner because a contending team would have more depth.

As I said in the chat, I think this move's looking ahead to another NCAA FA akin to Flynn (or, hopefully with a little luck, better) .. burn a year and the next college kid gets a few NHL GP .. Flynn's a depth player that's replaceable.
