There was a twitter post I saw earlier on Freezing Cold Takes, a bunch of Phillies fans were chanting "We got Harper!" at a Nationals game earlier in the season..the responses to that post came with the "this aged well" saying..

Someone yelled that at a caps flyers game. Just trying to talk shit. Philly ladies and gentlemen.

Harper finished 12th in home runs, 15th in runs, 8th in RBI, 5th in walks, 18th in OPS

That's hardly mediocre. That's an all-star caliber season

I actually wouldn’t be surprised at all if Trout and Harper talked about teaming up in Philadelphia before Harper chose to sign there. I fully expect Trout to sign with the Phillies when he hits free agency.

Yeah, I was shocked he re-signed with us, really thought he’d be over the BS decisions by our management.

Yes because he made the All Star team this year

Regardless of whatever metric you want to spin spending 330m on one player is not exactly wise especially when he's an outfielder.
