Griffith always looked like a jersey on a hanger, out there, to me. Haha

Could use a few big macs.

Tough NHL transition when you're not-fast and really slight of build.

...but, he can shoot. Okay. Why not.

Question for anyone with a strong grasp on contracts:

According to Generalfanager.com, Seth Griffith is on a 2 way deal which would pay him 650,000.00 in the NHL (roughly 7,600.00 per game) and 150,000.00 in the AHL. It also says he is GUARANTEED $225,000.00.

Would that mean he's been guaranteed 10 games on the NHL roster, which would get him just over the 225,000.00 mark, or does that mean if he never got called (or if he gets called up for less than 10 games) up they will just round up to 225,000?

Kind of sounds like they plan on giving him another look in Boston at least, or maybe I'm just reading into it. Anyone know if these monetary guarantees above an AHL salary typically translate to NHL games?

Just a guess.

Signing bonus of 75k up front maybe.

Other than that I'm not sure.

This is the not from Cap Friendly.

CONTRACT NOTE: $225,000 Guaranteed at the Minor league level. So it looks like it's just that. So it just looks like he'll make a minimum of 225k next year regardless of where he plays

If so, wonder why they just wouldn't list it as 225,000.00 in AHL then, instead of 150,000.00 AHL with a Guarantee of 225,000.00. Can't remember seeing anything written that way before
