Everybody's injury is accounted for, except for Backes.

Krug fractured his ankle, but no surgery. That's good; but, it's a bummer to walk around in a walking boot for 2 months during the off-season.

Looks to me like “some of our guys were a little banged up after playing 95 games.”

A large majority of these players i expected to see “two broken legs” or maybe “all ligaments in entire body torn.”

In other words it’s not nearly as bad as anticipated.

When you think about the thousands of faceoffs he's taken over the years, I guess it's not surprising that he has groin/hernia issues. I wonder if this injury is related to the hernia injury in some way (same side, etc.?).
