People complaining about not getting Jokinen hahaha. Like I said, never can we be happy.

There's a reason why no team claimed Jokinen....he isn't productive anymore and he's on the books for next year. And don't give me that "compliance buyout" ********. Even Jacobs shouldn't have to pay a couple mill for a minimal upgrade

He has something better on the way?

Dogman might play on the third line for Pandolfo, but only until reinforcements arrive. I think he is thrown into the mix on the fourth line, and at the very least, serves as useful depth.

I thought Jokinen would be a useful pickup too, but if Chia knows there is help on the way, help that in one way or another will solve the issues of the third line, then Jokinen might be superfluous. You can only have so many contracts and so many players on the NHL roster before you have to start releasing guys etc....

That could have gone better.

With Kelly still not skating, it's probably a good idea to have another guy like this on the roster. Good defensively and on the PK.

We waived him because his agent and him asked the Sens to waive him because he wanted to play and he wasn't getting enough time on the Sens.

Pretty good guy on the PK and strong on the board. Solid defensively but offensively lacking but pretty decent 4th liner. He was pretty liked with the Sens..good guy to have in the locker room.

Seems all the Sens go to the Bs..Chara, Kelly, now the Dog

If he wasn't getting enough time on the sens, how is he going to get more time with the Bs? Poor guy. Anyways, we know this guy has balls if he is willing to try moves like that in the shootout lol.

Yup, might even happen tonight now that his replacement is in tow.

I doubt Daugavins will make it in time to suit up tonight. He was still in Ottawa as of this morning. Guess it's possible, but if I recall, when Bruins acquired Kelly, there were some visa issues. Would love to have him tonight over either of Pandolfo or Caron.

When the Sens acquired Kassian is playing time got cut. Maybe a change of scenery will help him. Wish him luck.

miss the boat!

im telling you jussi would have helped us big time come playoff time. he destroys us when we play against canes. remmeber the playoff year when the knocked us out game 7 overtime. hes only 29. 3 million is nothing for a player like this. he would have cost us nothing in terms of not giving up prospects draft picks. worth a shot and perfect 3rd like piece for pev and kells. miss the boat!!:(

It still could happen after the game.

LOVE IT! HAHAHA!

Unlike many, I don't want him in the shootout. He missed, remember? :-P

Kidding aside, not a bad move at all. An upgrade over Pandolfo.....unless Julien STILL decides to go with the wiley vet :-S

Can't believe people think Caron has been playing poorly. He's been solid on the boards and defensively responsible. He was great last game.

Pandolfo, for as much **** I and many others give him, is a great guy who I wouldn't mind having around as the 13th forward. He can still bring valuable insight to the team. I'd just prefer him looking dapper in a suit than seeing any ice time.

You guys are gonna love Daugavins personality. He has kind of a cult following in Ottawa and you can guarentee it isn't for his skills

If he happens to score a goal for you, don't be shocked to see him barking as he high-5's at the bench.

Here is some clips showing what kind of character Daugavins, aka Dauggy, aka Rooster is.

Caron played great with Pevs and Lucic. Too bad they only got like 3-4 shifts before Julien went back to the old stand-by under-performing lines.
