Avs have better top-end talent which Gallagher-Danault-Lehkonen could've shut down, Vegas has more depth which isn't good for us. Also Fleury is better than Grubauer.

Theyll need to shut down stone/patches line. If they can do that, our next 3 lines are advantage. D=D.. Price>flowery

Why do the Knights get such a long break? This should have started Saturday.

More time for our guys to heal, but the Jets series started so quickly after the Leafs one.

Keep in mind they needed to ensure the Canadian playoffs would catch up to the American ones. But because Habs beat Jets in 4, the Canadian series finished first.

Also, this could also benefit the Habs. They can fly to Vegas and get used to the time change.

Our defense also isn’t as dumb as Colorado’s was in this series. Played hot potato with the puck (except Makar and Toews) and made no effort to adjust and slow Vegas down through the neutral zone.

Time zone change would be unfair to Habs, it takes body 48-hrs to adjust, especially since the first two games are in PST

Our def is better defensively but absolutely horrendous offensively. Both opposites , we'll see. Its not like we got Pietrangelo for free at lesser price because it's Vegas

Is game #1 Monday? If so that's great! The 4 day off point is generally when teams get rusty, so this will give Vegas a chance to get rusty too, which will help to minimise the negative effects of our long rest.
