Correction. Danny is PAINFULLY snakebit. He's trying so hard. He looks every bit like playoff Danny. Winning races like a franchise player. But nothing's going in for him.
Yes, he's snakebitten. That's why he hasn't put the puck in the net for the better part of 2 regular seasons now, because he's "snakebitten".
Perhaps this summer, we could find the antivenom for that snakebite, so that all of Giroux's marvelous passes aren't going to waste...
He should have had 5. OK, 3, I'm reasonable.Didn't he score in the last game?!
He looks good. Pucks should eventually go in, though his wrist probably isn't healed
You are all nuts. Playing really well? Franchise player?
He looks horrible. He's turning the puck over even more than usual, blowing dozens of prime scoring chances, playing just as horribly defensively.
Giroux has blown him out of the water. I can't believe what I'm reading. If you want to find someone snakebitten THAT is Giroux. Only difference is Giroux has been all over the place, sacrificing himself defensively, winning faceoffs, and being a franchise player whiile Briere floats around the blue line and chest sniping on the other end
Funny I don't remember a single "chest snipes" last night or even the canes game.
How about the perfect pass from giroux in the slot on the rush where he shot it back across the net directly into lindback?
I honestly thought Lindback made an excellent save on that. He's 6'6" and can cover a lot of crease when he sprawls out.

Looks good at times, invisible at others. He hasn't been a massive defensive liability this year compared to previous years. When you expand 5v4 PP production to a per-60 scale he's our best PP performer.
He needs to start finding the back of the net in 5v5 though.
