I like his game. Along the board he seem to win lot of battle. Maybe not the most skills player but he knows it, and he work with strenght and caracter.
Looks like a steal. He can move the puck and skate. Could be another Petry. If he keeps developing
I wouldn't go that far. But Kulak's been a good addition to the roster. Initially, people weren't happy because it seemed like an AHL trade, and Habs had given up their most offensive defenseman in Taormina and Valiev, as we. Taormina's been having injury problems all year and Valiev hasn't exactly been great, either.
But now we know they gave two AHL players for a guy who can play in the NHL.
For me, a Kulak - Folin third pair wouldn't bother me at all.

Maybe MB's second or 3rd best trade this year?
Really like Kulak and he has grown a lot as a hab this year. 6 goals and 17 points for the team, and he has only played 156 games. I think he is what Beauliu was supposed to be for us.
Good skater, can move the puck and has shown lately a bit of a shot. I don't know if he can follow Petry's progression but I see him kinda like a mini Petry. It took Petry over 300 NHL games to get into his groover and closer to 400 to start putting up points.
I think he is your prototypical new NHL D man.
Kulak knows by heart his limits. Doing much far than what he could isn't relevant for him.I like his game. Along the board he seem to win lot of battle. Maybe not the most skills player but he knows it, and he work with strenght and caracter.
ThePaciorettyand Galchenyuk trades look better...Maybe MB's second or 3rd best trade this year?

thats why I said 3rd best.
Domi -1st
Max -2nd
Kulak -3rd
I think Kulak was great early on, alongside Weber. Some time after, Mete went back with Weber and Kulak played with Petry (or maybe others in the process early on). He struggled for a while. Lately, he's back at being the reliable defenseman who might join the offense occasionally (not so often) but he's fully aware of his defensive assignments.
