From what I've read about him, it's a sensible pick up.

TWO SECOND ROUNDERS according to TSN? What am I not seeing?

EDIT: A second and a third. I still think it's an overpayment.

If TSN is right with TWO 2nds.... We didn't even get that for Yandle's rights.

If that's true, man, that's a bad trade.

EDIT: I'm not saying that's what we should have or even could have gotten for Yandle's rights. I'm saying we got a 4th and a 6th for the rights to a PMD.

I'm saying we paid a pair of picks for 20+ games of a 28 year old bottom-pairing d-man, one of which is a second, and we probably won't have the cap space to re-sign him unless there's another move. We get a little extra snarl and not much offense, which is a sore need on this team and has been for a while.

We only paid a 4th for Holden.

To me, a 2nd is over-payment, never mind a second pick with it.

He's better than Holden, Staal, Girardi, and possibly Klein, all while playing his off side. Hopefully 2nd and another conditional if he re-signs is all it is.

Move something out for assets back.
