feels like the floor is higher on Leipsic because he can play a checking role, and he was more successful in the AHL

Obviously Leipsic's got more opportunity in LV but even with that considered, I have to choose Leipsic.

If Petan had the opportunities of Leipsic right now, I think he would be better, but Petan hasn't shown enough yet. I'll tentatively take Leipsic.

If were just basing it off of results and production to this point, then Leipsic.

Petan is horribly misused in Winnipeg, and actually produced in his small windows of opportunity when playing with skilled players. Petan has some undiscovered potential, but as of right now, based off results, I guess it would Leipsic, but if I would take Petan as he has a higher ceiling. Both are 3rd liners, IMO.

Maybe I'm being biased as Nic is one of my favourite players
