I keep telling you all it will be better next year! How many times do I have to tell you this before you believe me?

I'll go on record right now saying the Oilers will win 12 out of 14 games to start next year. It's not out of the realm of possibility.

Someone needs to make a skit of all the Western Canadian GMs just shooting the **** and then eventually they start talking about how awesome the playoffs were.

Then when they realize MacT has gotten really quiet, one of them will turn to him and say "Oh, sorry Craig. I forgot..."

Then, cutting him off, MacT will respond half-heartedly, "Nah it's cool guys. We've got a real good decade coming...". Then they'll laugh and say, "Yeah, we know Craig."

It takes about 11 games. 2-8-1 and we will continue our slide into 2nd last in the West with a -60 to -70 goal differential. You heard it here first.

Funny thread. But not that far off from accurate. MacT has said it's going to be a quiet offseason. What we see now is what we'll see in October.

It's super depressing that the Oilers continue to employ the stupidest people in the game.

Why bother with the preseason?

It's usually readily apparent if the Oilers will be competitive by mid-July when you get a look at the finalized roster.

Of course we are going to miss the playoffs next season. In fact, it won't even be close.
The only question is...can we finally reach 70 points? That would be a major accomplishment for this atrocious organization.

We need 88-90 points to be the 3rd worst team in our conferance. Let that sink in. We need to improve by 40 points just to have a sniff at 8th place.

"Hanifin and Nurse are truly starting to emerge as a legit top pairing for next season, shouldn't need too much roster movement for 2016-2017. The few roster player I have picked up on waivers have made the team visually better already, but the current coach has proven that Eakins was good or perhaps great. I miss his hair *sob*..."
