Swayman's freshness didn't help him much in game 7.
He let in one bad/backhand goal from Montour.

The GTG was due to McAvoy accident tip.

The GWG... the Panthers player was bascially all alone and it was roofed. Unlikely any goaltender could stop that.

Swayman had a huge breakaway save vs Tkachuk in OT.

He played well for a goalie thrown to the wolves(game 7) without warmup

I think they can and should trade Grizz along with Coyle and Ullmark. Take this team in a new direction and get out of cap hell in the process.

Grzelcyk’s last 4 playoff runs with the Bruins he has 5 points in 32 games and is a -14. Time to see if they can get back some draft capital for these players.
I doubt Coyle is going anywhere. His point stats could be better. But he is versatile, is a strong PK and has good leadership skills. Bruins also are hurting at C depth.

I mean...if you trade Coyle. How do you replace him at C?

Frederic, Merkulov, UFA. I’ve seen enough of Coyle to know he’s not going to suddenly get better in a bigger role. Chances of winning the cup next year with Coyle, Zacha and a 38 year old Bergeron are pretty small so I don’t see a point in keeping him. Time to move on from some of these vets that don’t show up in April and May.

This. I think Grzelcyk is a solid D-Man, but for a puck mover who's supposed to have a bit of offense to his game, it's simply not there. Especially come April.

Ideally if Bergeron does come back, you don't want him as the #1C

If Coyle is traded(plus no Bergeron/Krejci). Might as well start tanking for Macklin Celebrini.

Frederic is a bottom 6 C at best. Merkulov... weakness is the defensive side of things. Not sure he will even get a chance at C

I don’t know about tanking but I think we need to start getting younger at center and get a new look on the bottom D pair. I just don’t see the Bruins winning the cup next year by running it back with the same group minus Ullmark, Bertuzzi and Orlov.

I’ve read Merkulov is better at center in Providence.

I’m not sure Ullmark value is what we think it is. I’d be hesitant after that playoff debacle if I was a rival GM. I’m not sure he gets back more than a 2nd. Are people thinking he’d get a first back?

Future looks bright in net...

Though I didnt know he was older than Swayman.

Young enough (25y/o).

Still needs to prove more. But has cat like reflex and excellent size. Good at covering the bottom part of the net. Good/active stick also.

Want to see...him have a so so 1st period. See how his mentality handles it.

The D in front of him was not that great on Sunday, allowing him the chance to make some great saves. Really hope he gets a start against better competition and with better d-men in front of him. He sure made the most of his opportunity against the NYR. Uncanny how well the Bs are able to identify then develop goalie talent.

He was injured, so people will want to see how he performs in new season.
